Amity Township is under a burn ban. The Township's Fire Marshal has determined that the dry conditions increase the potential for fires to spread and cause damage to properties.
Propane, charcoal, or natural gas grills are the only approved open flame source to be used outdoors during the burn ban. Indoor fireplaces may also be used during the ban.
We will advise everyone when the ban is lifted.
